What is Truth?
Is there any such thing as absolute truth? In the realms of mathematics, science, and even history, most people agree there is objective truth, but what about religion and morality? Are religion and morality just a matter of preference, or is there an objective standard of right and wrong?
Science Points to the Existence of God
For approximately the last 150 years, there has been this philosophy that science and faith are at odds with one another. Simply put, some would suggest that science has put God out of a job or that He isn’t needed to explain our existence anymore. But when we look fairly at the evidence, we can see that science points to the existence of God rather than His non-existence.
Can We Trust the Gospels?
If we believe the Bible to be the Word of God and we encourage people to bank their lives on it, we should have some reasons to believe it’s true. Were the Gospels made up stories or were they eyewitness accounts?
Historical Evidence for the Resurrection
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the entire basis for Christianity. But do we have to take the resurrection on blind faith, or is there historical evidence that demonstrates it really occurred? Although Christianity requires faith in Jesus, we have strong historical evidence supporting that He was raised from the dead.
